• Ideally on September 1 is the time for your Fall Armyworm killer. Put down your 3rd treatment of Duocide Insecticide Control with carbaryl (which will kill grubs, Fall armyworms, sod webworms, cutworms, etc) and bifenthrin (for beetles and other insects) which will kill above and below the surface of the lawn. There are almost no true dual action insecticides like this so this is the more effective and only insecticide I use now.
• 5th light coat of PGF Complete 16-4-8 fertilizer on September 1 ideally.
• It’s still hot so ensure your Rachio watering has auto-adjusted to heavy with long soak periods to ensure the soil is properly saturated to the root levels and the grass doesn’t become drought-stressed.
