Pattern you should be walking #

Use the checkboard pattern when spreading with your broadcast spreader to avoid zebra stripes from uneven spread.

There is one rule of this pattern you must remember.

YOU MUST CUT THE RATE NUMBER ON THE BAG IN HALF WHEN DOING THE CHECKERBOARD PATTERN! 

This is because you are doing 2 passes over the same area.  Otherwise, you will be putting down twice the amount recommended. You can burn and kill your grass with some of the chemicals you are putting down if you put down too much so ensure you cut the number on the bag in half when doing the checkerboard pattern.
