A pressure washer is not really for your grass but instead for your sidewalk and driveway along the bermudagrass. You probably want them to look their best if you care about maintaining your grass. Concrete can get dingy and black over time from mold, algae, soil runoff, etc. and needs to be power washed to restore a bright white look like the builder just poured it. Do not use a wand and nozzles that come with your pressure washer or you will be standing there all day trying to clean and just putting random streaks all over the place. You need to use a surface cleaner attachment to clean surfaces like driveways and sidewalks properly. A long lance will save your back and a turbo nozzle is amazing to get stubborn gunk out of grooves. Don’t use the turbo nozzle on wood like fences because it will swirl up the wood grain. The 40-degree tip that comes with your pressure washer is perfect for your fence and won’t mess up the wood grain.

Do not buy an electric pressure washer like the popular Sun Joe SPX3000 because they are underpowered and leave streaks all over your driveway even after hours of you standing there with a Sun Joe SPX-PCA10 surface attachment. They just don’t have enough power to clean effectively. You need gas-powered to get the job done right the first time. Don’t make the same mistakes I did when starting out by getting the Sun Joe equipment which now sits in the corner of my garage gathering dust.

The gear above will last you forever for your sidewalks, driveways, siding, decks, fences, etc. and you will never need anything else. This is my exact setup and you will never need anything else. It will pay for itself after 1 cleaning. At one point I was so frustrated with my Sun Joe setup I called pressure washing companies for quotes to just have them do it. Some wanted more than the cost of the equipment above! Trust me, just buy once and never worry about it again.
